Souper Bowl of Caring North Texas is excited to announce that Alison Beazley, an educator who has been teaching for over 16 years and currently teaches at the Winston School in Dallas, Texas has been nominated and voted in to serve on the Souper Bowl of Caring Board of Directors. When asked why she wanted to serve on the board, she responded "I have always felt a sense of urgency when it comes to hunger in our community. If a student comes to school hungry, it is terribly hard to learn, even when a student is motivated to do it. The fact that the Souper Bowl of Caring is a national effort that has local impact is hugely important to my choice to be so involved. I am very excited to get to be a part of the organization!"
